Felas, ok i got one sony memory card 2 gig, it was corrupt after lik 2 months, then i bought d one wit d red sticker 4gig, lasted about 4 months, & there'r so many new memory cards coming out. I saw an 8 gig 4 lik #4000 buh i didnt buy cos of my past xperience. Hw do i knw which one z good or dat will @ least last a yr?

Simple just insert d memory card in ur psp. Then scroll to any xmb icon like game. Press triangle on d memory card icon. And select information. You will see your memory card information i.e User Capacity, Free Space and MagicGate. If magic gate is unknown den its not a SONY ORIGINAL MEMORY STICK PRO DUO but if MagicGave is supported then u have an original memory card.
What determines a good memory card ip the writing speed. Well i don't want to write much but another way to identify a good memory card, i don't mean 'AN ORIGINAl'but just 1 dat will last ip by asking the memory card vendor to transfer a large file to the card. Watch the rate at which the memory card access indicator flashes i.e the orange light close to the memory card slot. If it blinks very fast this indicates a very high writing speed but if it is slow i.e you can almost count it den its a very fake card. I hope dis helps.
