dude should come and mobilize market women,NURTW, NUJ and student associations. He should stop wasting his precious time at Marriott and Intercontinentals. The audience there will not vote, are professional critics and will not make the difference. That is the reason why Tinubu remains the godfather (as corrupt and undemocratic as he is). If this Duke tactic was a winnable tactic, Jimi Agbaje would have been in the Alausa house and not Fashola. |

When the time is right we will publicly declare in Nigeria and get down to the streets and rural areas in Nigeria to seek vote. We are only consulting with Nigerians worldwide because while they may not have a direct vote, the $1 - £1000 of ordinary Nigerians in the diaspora may make a difference to campaign logistics. We need wider and alternative means of funding to stay the course. Ours will be a campaign like never seen before in the Nigerian political terrain. |

krendo: I thought his party already zoned the presidency to the three zones in the north or he is planning to dump the party? |

desgiezd: Please understand there is a difference between Party Charman postulations and Party policy. PDP is yet to officially zone anything. But Donald Duke has said he is looking to contest 2011 elections knowing the existence of this invisible rule. If after consultations he is confident in his chances and strategy he will formally declare. In his words since independence we have had quite a few number of parties and we have a few of them available at the moment. If PDP decides to shut everyone else who is not a Muslim Northerner out at this time then those who don't agree will make their minds up on what next to do. |

99% of the party were not even there when this 'unwritten deal' was made. Where is the evidence that in 2015 all those trying to exploit this rule will not ditch it after their turn passes. |
