Citing examples from the Bible, the figure 40 was very important as it was how long Jesus Christ fasted in the wilderness and the age at which Peter healed the lame man at the Beautiful Gate, saying that Ndigbo had been held down for 40 years and should now rise and liberate themselves.
Rev peace(on sunnewsonline.com) wondered why Obasanjo is trying to impose Dr Andy Uba on the people of Anambra State even when there are alleged heavy financial impropriety leveled against him by a United States court.

“He is hobnobbing and protecting the likes of Chris Uba, Adedibu, Olabode George, Iwuanyanwu, Nzeribe and others who have brought Ndigbo and Nigerians so much pains and shame. He is busy trying to run down the leading lights in Igbo land, Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige and Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, who without doubts have brought smile and hope to Ndigbo,” he said.

The groups’ leader pointed out that President Obasanjo in his bid to annihilate Ndigbo reduced its population from 50 million to 14 million in the last census, saying that Ndigbo arguably is the largest ethnic group in Nigeria.
He also said that while the MASSOB leader, Mr Ralph Uwazulike, is still languishing in detention for leading a non-violent ethnic group, his counterparts in the OPC whose group caused trouble have been left off the hook.
