Cramming: This can also be referred to as mugging, swotting. 

Definition: It may be defined as the practice of absorbing large information in a short time. 

When Scholars struggle Wether successfully or not to absorb an academic information that normally requires time and dedication,   in short period of time and speed, it can be said that such student or reader is engaging in Cramming.

Many resort to summarizing a whole page with one or two alphabets for the purpose of just passing examination, test or interview. 

A lot of Scholars and teachers have expressed divergent views on swotting or Cramming.

it depends..... sometimes you just need to cram..........Nigerian educational system favours those that cram. Some lecturers prefer you give them their note word for word. So for me when it comes to incourses and exams, I cram and understand ( understanding the material helps for MCQ while I cram and also add the knowledge gotten from my understanding for theory)
