Good day Nairalanders, I just got a 7weeks old GSD pup and I put him in a cage outside the house. The pup is always barking especially iat night and midnight. I'm not sure if this is normal but I noticed that it's always barking whenever it's inside the cage. Whenever it's out of the cage, it keeps quiet.. . Pls what could be wrong?... Is there anything to worry about??.. .. Pls advise..... Thanks |

| A typical GSD is an alarm clock, they can even bark at flies you will get used to it no fear. |

Are u talking of barking or crying? Bcz pups do cry wen they just get seperated frm mum nd usually night nd mid 2 Likes |

It barks to get freedom, d more u keep giving d attention, d more it barks. If u want it to get used to the cage, U may need to ignore it for some time. Also try check d cage if dere are things you should worry of. There was a time my dogs cage were infested with ticks, it didn't want to go in, once I close him in, he barks till he gets his freedom. It could be any of those scenarios 1 Like |

It normal, he jst wanted attention. He will get use to it. I also exprience it with my puppy, after 2 night he get over it. |
