How Do We Understand God - Question For The Christians by adepeter2027(m): 11:34am On Nov 12, 2017
It's clearly stated in the Bible that the ways of god ain't the ways of man, which infers that, we can't fathom or understand god.

This now posit a question which goes as thus

If we can't understand god, or his ways ain't our ways, how then can we be sure that we pleasing him or acting according to his will.

Just incase many still it difficult to understand the message I'm trying to pass across, I'm gonna give an analogy to explain myself better.

I'm a master/teacher, a follower of mine asked me to explain something to him. I responded by saying "I don't actually understand the question or I can't answer the question".
"Miraculously" and "magically", I find myself explaining something I have no clue about. On what scale will such follower of mine agree to my solution.?

Why would you want to know how to understand God, whom you have said doesn't exist?
A God you curse at will??
Atheism is just sickening to me. I would wish you found something else to engage your idle hands with.
You waste your time while you play with HELL!

It seems that the relevance of atheism is tied to christianity, if ever Seun creates a section on Nairaland for christians (in which you reaffirm your belief in Jesus as the Son of God before joining) and atheist (in which you also state ur belief in a God-less world), believe me atheist on nairaland will lose their relevance. To your question the Holy Spirit is the answer "now we have received, not the spirit which is of God; that we may know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual" (1Cor 2:12-13). How do you know a person has the Holy Spirit? The sign of speaking in tongues is one way "these signs shall follow them that believe..... they shall speak in new tongues" (Mark 16:17). "....the Holy Ghost fell on them..... for they heard them speak with tongues..." (Acts 10: 44, 46).

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1Cor 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Some Christian Church doctrine don't believe in speaking in tongue, are we to say they are not filled with holy Spirit?
