Most Expensive Cities In The World To Live In by kachi19: 7:29pm On Nov 12, 2017 |
That's according to the Economist Intelligence Unit's annual Worldwide Cost of Living survey, newly released for 2017. To determine the rankings, the EIU compares the prices of more than 400 products and services worldwide, including food, drink, clothing, household supplies, and transportation. Each city is then ranked in comparison to New York on the World Cost of Living (WCOL) Index, with New York assigned a score of 100. Other cities earn a relative score, where a one-point increase or decrease equates to a 1% change in the cost of living. Asian cities dominate the list, with Singapore and Hong Kong earning the top two spots. So my dear blodas & sistas... before you start planning your runaway mission pls take note |

When it comes to cost of commodities I give all up for Nigeria, we have an edge in this area. Even though the recent inflation orchestrated by the recession have left the price of some commodities slightly high, an average man can still afford some basic commodities. Live in Naija is cheap mehn! especially in the north where I'm currently staying (Gombe); transport fare here in their city is extremely cheap for a very long distance. |
