These poor innocent girls were shamed, arrested and detained because of N6000, while massively corrupt and murderous politicians, who steal billions walk free!! Nigeria is the largest zoo on Earth. Its Laws are only meant for the poor! Go to all the prisons, you will only see poor people's children languishing in them!! |

Lovetinz: First, l must thank the NGO that did this. God bless you all. In addition, the reality is that this case is in court: As far as l am concerned, l will free the girls in 3mins of arguement. - Supermarket is a Public Place of BUYING GOODS, for members of the Publci. - BUYER is not expected to know where the SELLER got the goods from. - BUYERS bought goods, at a "Designated Sales point", in GOOD FAITH. - Buyers were never seen at the place where goods got stolen. - Seller never mentioned that Buyers were in a conspiracy with her (seller), to steal/transfer stolen goods. Best thing to do, is for the Lawyers to the Girls to file a Counter Suit at the same Magistrate Court, allege Wrongful arrest, defamation and seek compensation. They should join both the Police and their owner of Goods. Both cases to be heard simultaneously. How it works is that the "the Burden of Proof" is on the Accuser. They have to prove that the Buyer knows the goods weres Stolen and to do that, you need to establish a history of "prior communication about these particular goods, between the girls and the seller. That would be impossible except the girls really knew the goods weres stolen. But once the Stealing case against them is dismissed (and it will be), it gives impetus to the counter-suit because that have already stablished that you were wrongfully accused and in the same line, that the arrest was illegal. Now, were is my payment for this small brief? No worries, its all for the public good, no payment requested. 2 Likes |

DedeNkem: Dont just keep abusing Nigeria...... ask yourself: What have l done to IMPROVE THE SITUATION? What have you contributed to ensuring that Justice is served on everyone? Talk (Abuse) is a cheap alternative, but it is not even an alternative. Just cheap talk. Do SOMETHING WHENEVER YOU CAN 1 Like |

soberdrunk:..SARS is not a 100% percent police..question 2.dou anambra is a big state but they still have a very glaring practice of communal relationship with themself..for example..elders rather than court settle lots of cases..inside the commercial bus younger persons tend to greet older persons sitting close to hin/her wen he/she enters the bus..again..if a passenger alights from.okada and their a dispute regarding the actual price agreed btw the passenger and d customer; both are likely to abandon the offered money by the customer...nd leave the scene..claiming it can't hold in thier conscience...a very different society |

fuckerstard:this is unfortunate, they are not supposed to be arrested in the first place, as they bought in what we call in law market overt. was the owner of the super market arrested? I know the answer will be no. let them bring an action called malicious prosecution against the complainant after they must have been discharged and aqutted 1 Like |

This is a very intresting case. We need experts to enlighten us on this. Is it a sin to buy items from a store. If d girls obtained receipts, i think they should sue d owner of d store and his rep. The magistrate should also be investigated and if found guilty, be demoted to act as deterrent to others |

Daboomb: If you think one or more civilians can bring change in this zoo called Nigeria, then you're delusional. You saw what happened to Nnamdi Kalu who tried to bring Change through the biggest peaceful protests in Nigerian modern history, organised by one person. His home was besieged for days by the world most corrupt and incompetent Nigerian military, his house riddled with bullets, every living thing shot at sight, he and his whole family either slaughtered or captured and secretly detained. Massively corrupt murderous politicians in this Zoo would do anything to keep the status quo!! There have been numerous peaceful protests, riots and still nothing changed. In fact, protest has become a crime in this zoo! Do you know how many people who were slaughtered by the corrupt thugs in the police and army during protests? Don't get me started. The only way Change would come to this zoo, is for a Nigerian Jerry Rawlings to emerge and publicly execute all corrupt politicians both present and past including IBB, Obasanjo Atiku and many others. Only then would corrupt id*iots avoid politics! Imagine how fast Change would come if execution becomes the only punishment for stealing public fund. Nigerians are scared of death, especially, the corrupt rich. So it will be very effective. Corrupt politicians don't give a fck about protests. |

DedeNkem: Please, just shut that your IGNORANT Mouth. I have no intention of discussing that SCAM called Nnamdi Kanu with you, that is meant for low-I.Q IPOBS. Change, starts with one person. Every person can be an agent of change, as that is the start of a critical-mass. But l understand people like you, all you do is wring your hands, engage in baseless name-calling, live a miserable life or smuggle yourself through the Libyan desert (if you cannot smuggle ingested hard drugs to Asia) to become a nuisance in one European country like that. Just Continue, you hear. |
