Queen Gudit She was a pagan Queen who laid waste to the Aksumite empire of Ethiopia in the 10th century AD. She destroyed many:- - Churches - Monasteries - Relics - Texts She slaughtered many thousands of Christians and tried to exterminate the entire members of the Aksumite royal family, but one child member survived this by fleeing to the land of Amhara ppl.
