Go and watch the documentary, "The Men who Built America". You will understand that America didn't develop because it have a good government, but because it have innovative people willing to invest in their country.



An average Nigeria is thinking of travelling out of the Country, meanwhile, Developed countries citizens didn't flee their country during hard times but played their own role in developing it.

[b]You sit at your dungeon asking wether South Africa is better than Nigeria. I doubt wether you have been there. By just landing any SA Airport you will know there is different btw water and palm oil. Have you been to any of the Nigeria Airport. Do you want to to talk of basic amenities, roads , electric etc. Why don’t you ask yourself why both the rich and the average goes to SA for holiday. Do you know Nigeria is the only country that cannot solve it’s electricity problem? How many SA citizens comes to naija for holiday. Where do you think most of the artistes shoot their video. SA is far ahead of naija 1000 times. Before the citizen of a country can develop it , the govt must provide basic amenities like roads, water , electricity. Do we have that in Nigeria ?
Try and travel around African countries and see that Nigeria is just giant of Africa for nothing.
The govt of the Americans you are talking about create a conducive environment before its citizens can put up anything. Do you know that people pay for electricity that is not available and they did not use in Nigeria?

but the first electricity generating company in the USA was built by an Individual, not the government. Railways, Refineries etc. was built by Citizens after the US civil war. THEY MADE THINGS CONDUCIVE FOR THEMSELVES. their government didn't do it for them. Also, do you know the USA is part of the top three debtors worldwide? Nigeria is not among the top ten.



that apart, South Africa is not better than Nigeria based on my own opinion. Check the percentage of their citizens that are unemployed despite boasting of big international companies like MTN and DSTV. that apart, check the number of reported murder cases yearly, they are among the top countries in crime. Check the percentage of their young girls that are being raped before the age of 18, they are one of the countries with the highest rape cases. Check the percentage of their citizens living with HIV.



Their currency having value than the Naira doesn't mean they have better living conditions. even Libya's Currency is almost equal to US Dollar despite all the war and unrest in the country.
