Who knows where I can get the lamlad texts in Asaba/Onitsha this period? I need the biology, chemistry and physics if they are available 1 Like |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by DrBESTJC(m): 10:28pm On Jan 02, 2018 |
Infamous:Just walk in to any bookshop and ask them of it. Make sure you buy Lamlad Chemistry. It's very helpful for JAMB. For biology,I'd advise you to check EXPLICIT BIOLOGY.It contains jamb past questions(1978 till date) with detailed answers and explanations chapter by chapter(Just like the English textbook, INVISCIBLE TEACHER by Dele Ashade). For physics,I would advice you to go for A LEVEL PHYSICS. |

DrBESTJC:Are these textbooks recommended by JAMB? |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 11:51am On Jan 03, 2018 |
Infamous:.Jamb might not recommend Explicit Biology, but its a very wonderful textbook. It is so simple and interesting to read like essential biology, with comprehensive explanations and jamb past questions, and it covers a large ground exactly like modern. But explicit biology is difficult to get, I couldn't get it then also. But if you could, pls get it, I promise you won't regret it. |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Infamous(m): 12:41pm On Jan 03, 2018 |
Pes13:THANK YOU. SO ITS EITHER EXPLICIT OR ESSENTIAL TEXT FOR BIOLOGY? |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 12:47pm On Jan 03, 2018 |
Infamous:Yaa. But if you must use essential, pls add modern. Essential have some curry and pepper missing. |

@everyone.What is your say about combining of olevel results and using a result in u.i. in relation to the aggregating of score for admission? |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 11:50pm On Jan 06, 2018 |
Hardebaryor: That should only help your personal studies in preparation for putme generally. Oau putme questions is generally more tasking than UI's My advice- Use OAU putme past questions for personal study(To cage your strength) but get UI putme past questions. UI will not set questions from oau past questions. It is better to study smart than study hard. |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 11:54pm On Jan 06, 2018 |
Greatomotoy: I am sorry, I can't say which textbook is best or recommend any, because I only read those subject to scale through olevel. |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 11:59pm On Jan 06, 2018 |
tundexweb: Throw that syllabus into thrash pan fast and read everything readable in your textbooks If you study it closely, the syllabus always cover over 98% of the content of your textbook. Sometimes( like chemistry) they tell you a particular subtopic is irrelevant, you will believe until you meet questions on it in past questions. I don't believe that shit, I scored 322 without checking the content of that nonsense. |
Re: UI 2018/2019 Admission Thread by Pes13: 12:03am On Jan 07, 2018 |
tundexweb: As far as you are not aspiring for college of medicine or the suspended pharmacy, and you have a combination of 6 credits, the effect of combine olevel is highly insignificant. |
