Hello friends let me start by congratulating nd welcoming u home to uniben ur possible home for the next 4, 5 or 6years depending on ur course of study. U must have started or finished ur online clearance and preparing for the manual clearance that has been given many dates b4 now. There are speculations that the new date is 15th of April, just get glued to dis corner and u will be well informed. I know that u have heard alot abut uniben.thats why ur understanding nd curiosity is blazing like wild fire . a 400level student of uniben.nd i m inviting u with all ur questions so that ur preparation will do with understanding. Accommodatn is one of uniben great gift.it is cheap nd safe.it has hostle for males nd females.we have hall one nd two for females,three nd four for males .there hall five for finalyear,  six nd seven for pg student.there are areas d the campus(off campu s)like BDPA,Osasoge ekosodin where student rent house to live. I will not advice u to stay off campus as a new student not becos of  d cost of living or d risk as they say bt stay in hostel becos it will help u adapt to d school system.if u decide to off campus in your higher live nd u can manage your time nd schedules effectively its fine.

Ok @seanpeters for last year d schoo fee for medicine is 43,000naira it might increase dis section.nd there are departmenta due that u will pay during your manual clearance nd your departmental /faculty handle will be given to u,there u will see de list of course nd program in d school of medicine[

CHANO wre u given accounting? whoa! dts gr8.there re eight persons in a room both in hall 4 nd hall 3 for guys same for hall 2 but dre are 6 in hall one for girls. Most guys prefer hall 4 to hall 3 becos of d wardrobe to keep their tins.while some don't like d heat. And cultism in uniben is same as it is in other nigeria it is not just a uniben factor.u know? I said b4 dt u must learn to manage ur time nd schedule effectively dis involves d kind of company u keep avoid making friendship wit people of questionable characters.nd have a personal relationship with God cos u need him to survive.cultist don't just kill people dey see.there is always a connecting factor.God can order ur steps to meet good people. There re first graduates in uniben accounting department in fact my former room mate in my 100level is already graduating a first class student, to be a first class graduate d race starts from ur year one. Ur grade point (GP) is calculated from ur courses offered in each level

For a first class ur gp is btwn 4.51-5.00 ;for second class upper 3.51-4.50; An average uniben student seek to get a first class bt many fail b4 d time .things that can get u a first class are
1.God
2.character nd courage
3.determination nd Dedication
4.consistence in studyin nd focus.make God d ruler nd he will give u d rule to success.he is thinking of u to give u a future and a hope .u can be a first class student if u desire nd work towards it by study nd placing ur pirority rightly.

Hello guys @ kelvin every department has its difficulty, All u av to do is study nd commit d rest to God . I av not heard of first class in pharmacy.yeh pharm in oda schl is 4,5year bt its nw 6years becos u don't just get B.pharm .u re also given Doctor of pharmacy.

Chano u can get this accounting text book they call FAMS, (financial accounting made simple.i don't tink u guys offer pol sci maybe it is a borrowed course or elective becos u re in d faculty of management sci but pol sci is social science course. Hw re u doin today?

Yes it is possible to switch but u av not told me d course.so i ll know if it inter faculty or inter departmental change.but all desame u change in ur 200L but ur gp must be high enuf to enable u transfer.u can also tranfer in ur 300L But u will loose a year.wot couse did u apply for nd wot wre u given
