Zimbabwe's ruling party Zanu-PF delegates dance after the central executive committee of the party announced the sacking of President Robert Mugabe as the party leader and appointed former vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa as the new leader.

The party has also recalled first lady Grace Mugabe as the head of the women's league 'forever'. The motion for this will be perfected soon.

President Mugabe is expected to step down by midday Monday or impeachment proceedings will begin when the parliament resumes on Tuesday.

Mugabe who has ruled Zimbabwe since independence has been under house arrest since the dramatic intervention of the military in the political landscape of Zimbabwe on Wednesday.
