The man has his laptop and glass of booze on his left hand side which indicates that he is a left handed person but the gun is on the floor under the right hand and the gunshot is on the right side of his head which can only happen if he is right handed.

For the people saying his stocks crashed, it's possible the guy invested someone else's money and that person got pissed after the crash and shot him.

Considering the distance between where he's sitting and the wall, his blood couldnt have splashed so much on the wall (if at all if gets to it). It also wouldn't have touched the Air conditioner.
