Its very easy to get admitted into a university as long as you are very patient and hard working,Polytechnic is not the right choice you will live to regret it beside Nigeria has more universities than most countries

The worst University in Nigeria, is better than the best Polythecnic.

All Poly graduates suffer from inferiority complex,and are usually bitter for the rest of their lives,as if we told them to attend the Joke called Polythecnics.

This poster is mentally unstable. He is already very depressed and may become suicidal when he gets employed as an errand boy to a Polytechnic graduate.

fact... It might sound harsh, but the economy is going haywire. Certificates are becoming useless, and those with skills are raking up all the jobs.

I don't know how it sounds, but if you don't have a skill, you might be out in the long run. What skill do you have?

My dear you got this absolutely wrong, your university degree engineers always perform poorly in the industry compared to HND holder.
University degree holders may be good in theory, but in terms of practicals OND/HND holders are far better.

Fools ple plenty like sand.policy makers in Nigeria are certificate carriers and can never make it except by dubious means.No professional or Dangote can talk the way the monkey has just spoken.We are in the field and we know the truth. Let him go and get Job in a private sector.He will know that his bsc is useless.

I'm so disappointed that u guys have the time to respond to this nicampoo strolling vagabond from the first filia generation monkey talking about HND/B.Sc Degree.

His still living in the 18th century. In today's world creavity is what earns u money.

Let's hold on to our HND/B.sc qualification and try do something more creative that will create value, this value will bring money.

Did wizkid have HND/B.sc = No. His very creative in music , adding value and the value brings him money and firm.

Did Davido have B.sc? Yes= Only his creative talent makes him popular

Let's keep praying to God to reveal our creative talent so we can also add value that will bring us money.

I'm 100% sure ND and HND fetches more work in Nigeria.... Ask about army recruitment.... Contract bank jobs... Even in the non-medical staff section of the hospital I work.

certificates are overrated in Nigeria..

and to you BSC holder boasting here... do you have a job??

This useless idea of making people feel inferior to others, is one bane to harnessing our divergent resources that will lead us towards development. I have HND friends that are far cerebral than the university course mates I had in the university. let us appreciate and respect ourselves.

I am a HND holder and very proud of it, a Bsc holder has minimum of four years to make and adjust his or her grade but will still come out with Pass or Third class, while OND or HND holder has only one year to claim his result with no adjustment, if you fail in the first semester forget about your grade. So which one is more difficult. Most of the courses in the University are irrelevant to their program.

Trash of d highest order.. If certificates is a pre-requisite to success, why do we still have many graduates and M.sc holders roaming d street? I don't even have ordinary OND and I have graduates working under me. Either hnd, Bsc, Msc and PhD, rely on certificates at ur own risk. Entrepreneurship is d only way forward to be rich in this country. I rest my case.

I needn't answer you question 'cause it's a plot to massage your already bruised ego. You know the pedestal OND/HND holders are placed in the labour market, and it would be delusion of grandeur if you think otherwise. A case of 1/100 is no case study.

you have to discard certificate as a catalyst for success. do you know that an HND holder with PhD can be a professor? With my HND I am gradually approaching the peak of my academic career.

Where do you all get the cap from? I graduated from one of the finest polys in Nigeria and I proceeded to the best federal universities to study the same engineering course. The truth is they are both useless but the polytechnics are a bit backward because of fund. All in all, if you find anyone performing well from any institution, it's as a result of personal development and not the jargon learnt in school.

We're not talking of "Grace" here but the useless OND/HND certificate. As far as I'm concerned, grace could work in favour of anyone irrespective of one's status. Don't rigmarole, stay on the topic. grin
