Few days ago, the U.N. Command (UNC) in Seoul posted a video on their website showing how a North Korean soldier defected to the south through the border as he got shot by his former comrades. A North Korean border guard briefly crossed the border with the South in the chase for a defector which violates the ceasefire accord between the North and South. The defector who luckily survived was pulled under safety by the South Korean/American troops and is currently undergoing series of surgery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNMzU8Da80Q
