my mbc is showing at 37% (cracking terribly), i think i'll get another lnbf and realign my pole with a plum.

bros if the quality of your signal is as high as you say on 12728v3000, mbc should be a piece of cake on w3. in any case try fuji hd lnb. these funny things happen - i have used a sharp lnb too in that position 12728v3000 was high up to 60 but wont turn green. i flickered the polarity and skewed no show. foxy!

Delete the tp for MBC. turn off your receiver. Input the tp and check to see if there is any improvement. MBC most often goes red between 11am and 2pm with me. So, just try it. I guess with such a high quality, your MBC will pop out. Remember, if you blindscan, your MBC may go red. So, u might want to input your values manually. Nice day and happy hunting. My 63x is "bricked", so I am having some difficulties for the moment.

Gandalf try tweeking ur lnb to the 5'0 clock position or to the 8'o clock postion if it does not work. with dat good signal for 12728v, MBC must pop out if u will take time, mine is 59-60 for Mbc and 70 for 12728v.thank u

Even with a quality level as high as 75% for 12728v30000, the two MBC channels love taking breaks, going black from time to time. I hope they get to work on their emitters to jack up the quality of the channels.

use an hd lnb like eurovision n u will be fine. My mbc is fine eventhough quality level has reduced (52-53) from 59 but am using a strong lnb with 90cm dish. But u can use 60cm dish with hd lnb if signal improves with mbc. Thank u

Hi. Iam new to. Nairaland. I live in jigjiga, Ethiopia. And I've two question
1. I used to watch MBC's on W3A before with very good signal above 50% 3 to 5 months ago ileft it for Yamal@ 49E enjoying the Adult program and two Spanish la Liga games at the Week Ends. Now when I try to go W3A@ 7E I can't receive MBC's any more. And when I look into lyngsat it's available. What happened and why can't I receive it?
2. I have very little knowledge about satelite equipments and signal beams what is recievable in Ethiopia. Can any one giude me where to get any Ethiopian information sharing concerning about satelite. For me all my eqiupments are china made and not good but still can receive more than 15 satelite. What I would like to ask the Admin is can you start for us a new Thread about what is recievable in Ethiopia and knowledge sharing about satelite equipments all about Satelite strength?.

MBC on W3A has its signal strength reduced tremendously. If you were getting it easily then this time you need to do alot of tweaking to get it. So play around with your dish and lnb, you will get it as it is still there.

For signal beams covering your area you can check Lyngsat or Flysat or check with members of the forum from East Africa region who will surely be of great assistance. Good day bro.

The issue with w3a is signal reduction, u will need bigger dish and a good lnb to track it.
As for satellites over ethopia, u will have to do a bit of research. Visit www.satstar.net/satellites.html, www.dishpointer.com for satellites coverage maps. I wish u success

I stand to be corrected, but one thing i have come to notice about mbc1, 2 & 3 on w3a is that the signal is intentionally reduced during the day but jumps to 60-63% in the evening n stays like that tru out d night till morning with 12728 remaining nothing less dan 70& on my 90cm dish.
My advice, track mbc on w3a at night.

I track w3A with a 1m dish yesterday just to find two channels, the two mbc's only hitting green @ 71 percent. Have blind scannned with strg4669x still the same. Pls gurus in the house should help me out. Thanks

Have you tried to tweak your LNB? Check what polarity you are getting on MBC. Use that polarity for the tp given by Dmote. If Mauritius is H use H for 12728 V 30000.
