2. How to get free to air channels
3. Which scan to use, manual scan or blind scan or both?
4. If both, which scan should come first? Manual or blind scan?
5. Since I'm in the southern part, does it mean my ditch should face south?

Switch it off, remove the cable at the back and re tighten it then switch it on again

Your capacitor is blown. If you open it you will see a big capacitor swollen or bursted. Replace it with another of the same capacity.
As it is now it may work at other times it won't work especially when there's low voltage, it will just show standby light.

Hi Room, pls am using SRT4922A decoder and I do plug my SC card to watch movies on it especially India movies but I'm looking for a way to tag the subtitles to it. Pls is there any way I can do that? Mind you I have the subtitles files on the SC card also.

Pls, how do I solve the problem of software loading on my Strong Srt 4950h, it keeps on displaying "file size error" whenever I want to do software upgrade and it will not load it. I have done factory resetting, used new flash etc. but no way, so what is the way out?
