What really happened in eight months' time?

IT WAS THE SCHOOL CLOSING HOUR, STUDENTS SCATTERED ALL AROUND THE YARD. A TWELVE- YEAR- OLD BLACK BOY, 5 FEET, 3 INCHES TALL, WALKED OUT OF A CROWD OF STUDENTS HEADING TOWARD THE SCHOOL GATE. HIS NAME WAS LEVY. Note : this story is continued from "In Eight Months' Time" Weekly - 8
"Hey! Levy! Wait! Where are you going?!" a voice called from behind.
Levy looked back; it was his friend Lawrence, an eleven-year-old flaxen boy.
"Ain't you joining the school bus", Lawrence asked.
"My mom said she's coming to take me somewhere", Levy replied.
"Where could that be?"
"I'm yet to find out".
They got to the front of the school gate.
"Do you remember what you told me about that?" Lawrence asked pointing at a road crossing signpost.
"About what?!" Levy asked.
"That road crossing signpost", Lawrence replied.
"Nope, I don't", Levy said.
"Oh! You think I can forget?, you said: 'If anyone will stand near that signpost and cross the road, such a person will see in a dream a shadow man chasing and warning never to stand near the signpost and cross the road again. How true was that?" Lawrence asked.
"Oh! That was long time ago. Yes, I actually dreamt about it", Levy said.
"Did you dream about it? Or your grandpa told you?" Lawrence asked.
Levy muffled a laugh.
"There was no truth in it. I was such a fool to have believed you".
"Hey, did you see Victoria?" Levy asked.
"Sure, she wasn't her usual self today", Lawrence replied.
"I'm told her father banned her from using the Internet. He found out she had an account with this social network", Levy said.
"What is wrong with that?" Lawrence asked putting up a cheeky face.
"All is wrong with that! First, she's not eighteen. Second, she lied about age and name and her father does not find that funny", Levy replied.
"C'mon! We all do that!" Lawrence said.
"Not every parent the same", Levy replied.
"Did you have something in mine? Hey, are you shy to tell her one on one?" Lawrence asked.
Levy sighed.
"Look, Casey does not even have an account! I feel some how to approach her too!" Lawrence said.
"What do we do?" Levy asked.
"I have an idea. I was thinking about it this morning", Lawrence said.
"You do?" Levy asked. His eyes wide opened.
"By tomorrow, you will meet Casey, tell her that I love her, I'll like to meet her at the library", Lawrence said.
"Oh, my God!" Levy exclaimed.
"I'll do same for you. If They come, shyness will go away", Lawrence said.
"Then we will give it a try", Levy replied.
A car breezed by, a forty-year-old African American woman showed her pretty face through the window. Levy walked to the car, opened the front door and hopped in. Lawrence waved his bye-bye.

JIMMY ROBERT LEANED ON THE BATHROOM WALL with bare body and white towel
tied around his waist. He was making a phone call:
“Sarah, I said I’m sorry! Last night, I tried, I couldn't sleep. Thoughts of you were all over my head.” He listened.
“I’m serious, my dear.” He listened.
“You wanted to do that? Oh, baby! You are still my
super star! I want to ignite the fire again, the passion!” He listened.
“Yes! Baby. Okay,
baby. What about launch?” He listened.
“Yep, usual place.” He ended his call, stared at his cell phone and smiled before moving into his bedroom.
