What do you think? Churches (not all tho) have become no more than a circus, a place to feel good, a place to get cheap entertainment (especially if your Church has enough money to spend on the choir department), and a place to gossip about events happening around in the society. Well, we throw in the Word sometimes, but strictly from the G.O.'s perspective.... It should be possible to sit in one's home and practice one's Christianity without having to subscribe to the sedate hypocrisy... |

bizme:home alone Christianity is a toxic brand of Christianity, Christianity isn't just a personal religion, it is a communal one that is why Jesus himself established his Church and made his apostles servants and leaders of same. this assembly of the called out ones, the ecclesia is a visible reality established by Christ through his apostles to proclaim his word, celebrate his truth, mentor his children and bring them to participate in the life of God and into the inheritance of their salvation. that is God's will for every Christian which is why the apostle Paul instructs us not to neglect the assembly of God people the Church. That very Church Christ established 2000 yrs ago through his apostles ministry has continued to exist since from 33 ad, to 100ad, 200ad, 400ad, 700ad, 1000 ad and even today Nov 2017. That assembly that Christ himself promised to be with for all time, which he promised the gates of hell will never prevail against... that assembly still continues today preaching the gospel as it has been taught all through the centuries from ancient times. Look around, find that assembly and serve God in his Church. God bless you on your journey. |

Ubenedictus: And if that assembly doesn't exist? It is not likely Christ had the kinds of Christian assemblies we have around here in mind anyways. What is most important in Christianity is making heaven, right? Then how come it is individuals that will go to heaven and not church assemblies as a unit? Scriptural references that condemn outright the lone practice of Christianity will be helpful here. |

bizme:it is one Church not churches, and it exist because Christ himself promised to be with her for all ages. it isn't just making heaven, who knows maybe some Muslims will make heaven but that doesn't mean I'll recommend Islam, Christ came and taught and gave his Church the power to continue his ministry, it isn't enough to assume you'll make heaven, follow that assembly God has established to bring you there and don't assume you'll make it through the back door. not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. New Living Translation And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near heb 10:25 |

These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God's Spirit in them. Jude 1:19 divisions and schism, the very spirit of denominationalism is condemned through out scriptures. |
