This manga villian may not necessarily the most powerful, but he's the one I admire most: Orochimaru (Naruto).

Why do I like him? He's committed to his disgusting cause, knows when to run and when to fight, and really moves the story forward any time he acts. One more thing: his goal makes sense, unlike that of the 'fearsome' Akatsuki.

As for Orochimaru, he's not my favorite cartoon villian anymore. He's too ugly!

We will never understand the real reason why itachi slaughter his entire clan.But its what makes him my fav villian.Now thats dedication to evil.

even without his illusion zanpaktou, he's very calculating. watching the winter face off was almost like watching masters play chess. he doesn't have much competition as far as strategy is concerned. he does have many 'seniors' when it comes to strength. u'll prolly notice he doesn't take on many one on one fights.

The greatest and my favourite manga villain has to be:

UCHIHA MADARA.

i like the way we cant see his real face, adds some kind of mystery to him.
and he has not SERIOUSLY fought before

Itachi has always been my favourite even though he's not a villain per se.
I used to like Orochimaru because he's always smiling, the way he talks and he was able to stand up to 4tails naruto but when powerful guys started appearing like Madara, Pain, Naruto, Sasuke
I used to like pain, the way they move, the way they don't smile(especially Deva path) and the music they play when they are around. But they are dead so I'll have to say my favourite villain is Sasuke, i started liking him when he defected from Konoha.
