Christmas was created by the Roman Emperor Constantine, to get pagans to convert to Christianity while still celebrating their pagan holiday (Saturnalia) in mid December, he also changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday because Sunday was the day the pagans would worship their Sun God.
