Nigeria Football Federation has denied speculations that the Super Eagles May 26th friendly with Colombia has been called off by the South Americans.

NFF president, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi’s special adviser, Tunde Aderibigbe disclosed in an interview with brilafm.net that there is a letter from Colombia Football Federation president, Luis Bedoya confirming the game.

However, while stressing that the game is still on, Aderibigbe also recalled that organizers of the encounter had earlier notified the NFF that the date could be changed.

“As far as we are concerned, we have signed an agreement with them and we already have a letter from Colombia FA president confirming the match.

“Although the agent said the match could move to May 31st, we are expecting the game to go ahead. We have a letter from the Colombian FA president and organizers of the match,” he insisted.

So we still have this friendly intact, the date might change, but the game is confirmed to take place.
