Arsenal was never going to win this match playing on the back foot. They have ceded so much territory to Barca its untrue. The same template that worked for Chelsea and United at the Nou Camp will not work for Arsenal because those teams have better defences. |

HNIC: Vermaelen caused it. . . . . He is a retard. He gets too attracted to strikers going deep to receive passes thus leaving a huge space. Ibracadabra scored twice with the same tactics last week. . . . .JS Park scored that way too when Rooney lured Vermaelen out of position and Park acted as a second runner to bombard Arsenal's box. |

Messi is exceptional, this isn't about not having a defence. For the first goal, the tackle by Silvestre and Vermaelen would've put off 99.9% of other players. For the second, it was some bad luck that the clearance didn't leave the box. For the third? The pace and guile of Messi was peerless. |
