SageTravels:And those two bit hustling pastors will save you on the last day for being a sheep that follows them blindly. How come majority of the thithe payers in Nigeria are still struggling while their lords are flying all over the globe in private jets ?. Imagine a guy making N50.000 that can barely sustain him doling out N5.000 out monthly because some sweet talking con artist is telling him that Manna and Pies will fall from heaven. Gullible lots. The most prosperous people on Earth got where they are not by paying tithes but by hard work and good investments. No wonder the Whites easily enslaved blacks Hundreds of years ago. 4 Likes |

People have been asking more serious questions like "where is all this money going?" then d pastor and people like u dazzle with scriptures. My oga, no one is buying dat product anymore. Freeze asked a simple q. Jesus and disciples dey pay tithe? Na im u start epistle to distract. Secondly, WHERE IS ALL THIS MONEY? After all these years. What is Nigeria's unemployment rate? Facts don't lie. If these prayers and miracles work the way they say, my Bros, na F9 oh. If they had put most of those money in our economy even for a fee since they like business, we will be great. How many Nigerians pay tax? How many pay tithe? Churches are clearly richer than government oh yet no accountability to government or sheeples who can barely get by. 3 Likes |

Priscy01: Daddy freeze is incomplete he needs to listen to the whole sermon , its about 1hr 50 mins , if you listen to the sermon of the power of the tithe by Pastor Matthew ,he did mentioned a lot of bible verses both from the old and new testament , actually he preached in at TREM pastor okonkwo church in Lagos , my take on the tithe is that it is not for everybody , if you don't feel like paying tithe don't , if you have the revelation or feeling to pay tithe ,pay it with no compulsion , nobody should force you to pay it , as a preacher I will advise ( optional )you to pay the tithe because we worship the God of Abraham and Jesus Christ is now our high priest in the order of melchizedeck - the priest that Abraham first paid the tithe to , have you noticed that melchizedeck did not force Abraham to pay the tithe , Abraham paid it out of reverence to God ..and he expected God to be his protector , bottom line , tithe is optional and not for everybody The issue here is that Christians don't like reading the Bible for themselves and ask questions |

PaChukwudi44:I didn't say medical benefits. I strongly disagree with your tithing was never stopped. Hebrews 7:12 that you people always was about the end off priesthood in order of Aaron and not the priesthood in order of Melchizedek and Jesus Christ is a priest in the other of Melchizedek. Edesinpayan:For the fact that it wasn't recorded that Jesus took tithe doesn't mean he condemned it, Jesus is a priest in the order of Melchizedek. And Melchizedek took tithe, priesthood in the other of Aaroon stopped ( that's what Paul said in Heb 7:12,) Jesus came as a priest in order of Melchizedek(read 12- ending for enter understanding) |

It be like say he wan spoil market for some of these "mega pastors". Their private jet money is on the line But on a serious note sha, tithing should be a personal thing between a man and his God. When we (real Christians) give - whether tithe or offering; we give for two reasons: #1. We give because we love God. Giving is the evidence of love; hence, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe him Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). #2. We give because God has blessed us so, out of the abundance of what He had given us, we give to show appreciation for all His blessing. O pari Daeylar: 1 Like |

Khaliyah: madam if tithing never stopped you ill have to provide proof of biblical Christians practising tithing.Hebrew chapter 7 never asked any Christian to pay tithes and I challenge you to reproduce any such directive if there is any Hebrews 7New International Version (NIV) Melchizedek the Priest 7 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. 4 Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder! 5 Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, from their fellow Israelites—even though they also are descended from Abraham. 6 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7 And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater. 8 In the one case, the tenth is collected by people who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living. 9 One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham, 10 because when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor. Jesus Like Melchizedek 11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. 13 He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16 one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is declared: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”[a] 18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. 20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever.’” 22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant. 23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore he is able to save completely[c] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever 2 Likes |
