The picture you're seeing was taken at Imo Transport Company (ITC) terminal at Aba. The pillar initially supporting the beam seems to have collapsed; I didn't see any hence my assumption. (I'll rather not assume that there was no pillar to carry that weight).

These men are raising the beam up so that they can support it with a piece of wood and metal.

This is a huge disaster waiting to happen. I'm making this assertion because ITC staff issue tickets to customers under this structure you are seeing.

If you are reading this and you know who to call that can do something about it, please do. You would have helped prevent a lot.

that is abt four block courses abt 1.8m, it's a whole lot for an overhange that beam have obviously failed and it will be foolish if they don't provide proper solution to that building cos the roof is coming down soon. my advice distance yourself from that building
