Gondar

• It's a historical city located in northern Ethiopia on an elevation of 2133 meters above sea level (highland).
• It served as the capital city of Ethiopia from 17th to mid 19th century AD.
• It contains 44 churches and majority of the inhabitants are strong adherents of Ethiopian Orthodox churches.
• It's home to several castles that were building in medieval times and because of this, it's called the Camelot of Africa.
