What Now For IPOB After Their Election Boycott Was A "Total Failure"? by Naijiant: 8:32pm On Dec 01, 2017
In the wake of failed boycott, Nigerian Information Minister Lai Mohammed claimed that IPOB is “dead and gone” and that the successful election was its death knell. “I think what that proved is that IPOB does not represent the good people of Anambra state or any state in the south east,” he said.

Onyekere agrees the boycott was “a total failure”and suggests that the group’s momentum may be fading in the absence of Kanu. Following successful elections in Anambra and also Enugu earlier in November, he says IPOB may “die a natural death”.

However, the analyst claims that the “majority of this population” still backs the idea of Biafran independence even if they are not necessarily official IPOB supporters.

The question should be what next for the South, after the north are no longer afraid of Kanu and will slap any southerner who mentioned the word restructuring.

Everyone in Anambra, my home state, knows that the boycott was 90% sucessful despite the concocted results.

The near empty polling stations speak for themselves

Liar, Emma Powerful said only 10,000 people voted and that's 99.9% compliance so why are you changing it to 90% or is it that you don't believe the official statement from IPOB any longer?

Wether 90% or 99% or even 80% is still a successful boycott.

I was even hoping for not less than 70% and my fellow Anambarians did far better.

Total boycott in the SE/SS in 2019

Lol, cry of a loser.
Ndi Anambra shamed IPOB and IPOB was disgraced and finally buried in Anambra.
This was what ndi Enugu and ndi Ebonyi did earlier, Anambra finally buried it as the first son.
At least more people voted this time than 2013.Give me your percentages as your only consolation.

But whats your business with this? Its obvious you are not Igbo. No Igbo would write 'ndi Enugu and ndi Ebonyi' in one sentence in such grammertical context. That is a sharp contrast to the meaning of 'Ndi'

Only someone who understands the Igbo language and most probably isnt Igbo would use such conjecture.

Is that all you can come up with in order to defend yourself and your IPOB?
