Hi people.
I need advice. Let’s say I work with an NGO, in a remote part of the country, Monthly salary around a million naira(excluding benefits between 100-200k). Problem is, my girlfriend and I are looking to marry before the last quarter of the year, and I don’t want her tO move here with me. Also can’t imagine being without her after marriage.

Is it advisable to partake in this Emigration to Canada. Will I find a decent job there? I just want a life where I sleep and wake up to my wife, earn a decent salary and live a peaceful life. Your advice is highly needed. Thanks.

We cannot tell you whether to migrate or not. the choice has to be yours and yours alone!. Thats how one guy will advise his friend to leave a high paying bank job to migrate to Canada. when the friend gets to Canada and can't get a similar job he will end up swearing for the friend lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Please you have to weigh the pros and cons and the both of you decide for yourselves abeg.

Thanks all for the response,I have done that but my question wasn't there entirely,my question is can I proceed
1)As a 3rd class graduate
2)As I don't have an employed job now(self-biz)
3)As my previous titled job wasn't included in the NOC

Today is Easter so I will answer you well grin

1. Class of degree and course of study do not matter. So long as you can get an ECA that states it is comparable/equivalent to a Canadian degree you are good to go

2. Being currently unemployed is not an issue. So long as you have at least 1 year working experience in a job that is under NOC A, B or 0

3. Proving 2 above is where the issue comes in. if you are self employed, does it come under an applicable NOC and do you have the relevant documents to prove it?

Please our elders in the house, I have an enquiry. Though I've read about it on page 353 I think but the question was adequately attended to, hence, clarification is needed. The question is that for someone who did the Muslim marriage, and was issued certificate (of course its clear that the certificate isn't accepted), then proceeded to do declaration of marriage at high court; will that suffice for this canada process? Additionally, has anybody recorded success using this marriage declaration. Please the question is essential and urgent sir(s) and ma(s). Thanks in anticipation.

Your declaration of marriage should suffice. A friend has submitted his application with that and he has used it to obtain visa with his spouse in the past to 2 different countries.
Have you gotten an ITA? If you haven't, you may go to a local govt registry close to you and get your marriage certificate there if you aren't comfortable with that but they won't backdate it.
