The best strategy you need is practice, practice and more practice. Since speaking is your weakness, you need to develop short sentence response formats, practice with them and arm yourself with these before your exam day. These formats should be valid for responding to any question. For instance, "While I'm not....., I do appreciate...." is a sentence format you can employ when talking about hobbies, preferences, tasks, etc. "While I'm not the active type, I do appreciate talking a walk every other day as a form of exercise", for example. "Though I...., I prefer...." is another of such sentence format. "Though I am not the active type, I prefer taking a walk every other day as a form of exercise". There are a ton of such pre-built formats all over the net and you should help yourself to some.

It also helps to familiarise yourself with basic vocabularies on houses, food, hobbies, family, school, work. Questions from the first part don't fall far from these items, and getting yourself set for part 1 could be the driver you need to blaze through the whole session.

Strange as it may sound, perhaps the greatest tool you have during the IELTS speaking is lying. Lie freely and unsparingly. Build as many fancy castles as you can easily follow up on as long as it allows you to be moderately consistent. But you have to practice with this in order to do it well on the exam day.

However, in my expression of interest form I had indicated that I have a close relative in Manitoba and not friend. So, when i was filling the LAA form i selected friend as my connection to the province which the system rejected because it is not the same with what i filled (close relative) in the expression of interest form.

I have spoken to my friend over there in Canada to know if I can say in the form that we are close relative but he said no because of the document the province will demand for to proof that we are truly close relative.

Now house, is it true that they will demand for document connecting the two of us? Also, What type of document will they request for?

He said the only option I have is to decline the LAA and apply for another expression of interest again- which is a no-no for me! I have waited this long to be invited to apply and CANNOT afford to forgo it.

You shouldn't be asking this question. You read the website, filled out Expression of Interest for Manitoba, you stated you had a relative, now you're asking whether documents will be requested. Please go back to the site and read up whether documents will be requested.

Reject it quickly. Remember that PPR can be revoked at any time this is discovered.
And at that time you may suffer a more significant loss.

You can claim points for the work experience. Dupyshoo's sister and some other people did successfully. His own case is more of like personal issue (date written on certificate issue) and not because it is not acceptable.
