It is worthy to note that Anambra gubernatorial election slated for 18th Nov., 2017,have come and gone but all Federal Road Safety Corps staff in Anambra are still in shock with the way they were treated by their bosses.
Before the election, the Nigeria Police Force who happens to be sole coordinator of security affairs in the state requested for the bank details of all the security personnel that will take part in the election so that payment will be made directly to their banks . Federal Road Safety Corps personnel in Anambra submitted their bank details as requested. All the senior officers and junior officers of NPF got paid handsomely before the election. The payment ranges from 24k to 40k depending on the ranks. Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps also paid their personnel before and after the election.
It is saddening to note that Federal Road Safety Corps paid it's staff. 2K for senior officers, 1K for junior officers and meager 500naira for non officers(most of them refused to collect) . They were promised that the said money is for mobilization, they said the main money will be paid at their polling booths.
Most of these personnel were posted to places whereby over 2k was spent as transport fare.
After the election, the FRSC personnel were neglected as they did not hear anything about their payment again.
The news we heard was, their boss at Abuja came to Anambra some days before the election and stop the bank payment that was already arranged by the police.
When a call was put through to the Sector Command as regards this issue, he said he does not know what to led to the stoppage of the payment.
What we gather after further investigation was that his boss From Abuja cornered the payment and threw all its personnel in state of confusion.
This development is very worrisome as I am still confused why the FRSC Corp Marshal and Anambra state sector Command will not explain to their staff the reason why their election monitoring allowance was not paid.

Reminds me of one incident, in a public school where the lagos state govt gave them 5 bags of rice to be shared among teachers for christmas.

The principal and two V.Ps shared 3 bags. Then left 2 bags for the remaining teachers...
I dont know what they left for the non-teaching staff
