The Nigerian Police command in Osun State has arrested a 25 year old undergraduate, Joseph Mark for allegedly beheading his mother, although reason remained unknown.

It was gathered that Mark, who was suspected to be insane was arrested when team of police men arrived at the scene of the incident that occurred at 25, Zone 5, Ajetomobi Street, Eko-Ende Road, Ikirun, Osun.

According to Odoro, the father of the suspect who reported the incident to the Ikirun divisional police station, he said that soon after returning home from where he went to at about 6:30am in the morning,, he realized that his wife’s head had been cut off with a cutlass by his son.
