Ghanaian Highlife artist, Mr. George Kwabena Adu, popularly known as Kwabena Kwabena, has joined in on the chorus of condemnation against Ghana's self styled "Dancehall King" for slapping his bodyguard during Friday's S Concert. According to Kwabena Kwabena, Shatta Wale's increasingly controversial behavior is as a result of Ghanaians decision to sit on the sidelines and watch him misbehave more and more without being punished. Speaking to Peace FM's Sammy Kumah, a.k.a. Sammy Kay, Kwabena Kwabena related how Shatta Wale's controversies began when he "composed diss songs to insult everybody" because he thought he was supposed to win the VGMA's Artist of the Year Award in 2013. Kwabena Kwabena said that Charter House, event organizers of the VGMA, did nothing about Shatta Wale's rants. That year the award had been presented to dancehall artist Kaakie.
