“Emordnilap” is an emordnilap because it spells “palindrome” backwards which is where the word came from.
An emordnilap is a word that when spelt backwards, It means another word.
(In case you were wondering, a palindrome is a word or phrase that reads the same forward and backward like “civic.” Someone posted a topic about it on NL Here.)
