Traditional marriage comes first because as a woman you have to be joined to your husband first with the consent of your parents. No pastor can join you in church without the permission of either your father or mother. That's why most times the brides father walk her down the aile in church and give out her hand to her husband meaning he has given his consent. Pastors even ask for permission of the brides father bfr joining the couple, this signifies that traditional marriage is a true marriage, so I wonder why people ask the question OP is asking sef
