The most TRUEST fact in the world is ; Ijaws are settlers in Edo lands. No amount of rain or fire can ever change that truest fact to lie. Ijaws settled in Edo lands a few years ago. Ijaw population in the so called olodiama kingdom is not more than 5,000. How can u be in a place for hundreds of years and be only 5,000 in number? 1 Like 1 Share |

davidnazee:PEOPLE AND DEMOGRAPHY The main ethnic groups in Edo State are: Edos, Afemais, Esans, Owans and Akoko Edos. Virtually all the groups traced their origin to Benin City hence the dialects of the groups vary with their distance from Benin City. The Bini speaking people who occupy seven out of the 18 Local Government Areas of the state constitute 57.54% while others Esan (17.14%) Afemai compirising of Etsako (12.19%), Owan (7.43%), and Akoko Edo (5.70%). However, the Igbira speaking communities exist in Akoko Edo as well as Urhobos, Ijaws, Itsekiris communities in Ovia North East and South West Local Government Areas especially in the borderlands. Also, Ika speaking communities exist in Igbanke in Orhionmwon LGA. http://www.edostate.gov.ng/edo-people/ |

AdaFonju:Benson Idahosa whose shoe GEJ cannot fit in, Gabriel Igbinedion, these two Bini men were the first trailblazers in their fields and their works are still visible. When Ambrose Alli was governor, Ekpoma become an eldorado with all the roads tarred. Irrua was elevated when Aikhomu was in power. Fugar was elevated too when Akhigbe was in power. When GEJ became governor, he did nothing for otueke even when he became President, except for the university, there was nothing he built there. East West Road is still being constructed since 2006 and it wasn't even him that awarded the contract, it was OBJ and yet for 6 years, he could not finish it. If Edo citizens in power could transform their towns to cities, your Ijaw president made otueke more rural while the lecturers in the university were lodged in Yenagoa. Is that your best? 3 Likes 2 Shares |

In case you want to know more about these two Bini men, they founded their own universities, what your ijaw pride hero did with federal power, these two Bini guys built their universities without local government support. Igbinedion transformed his village single handedly into a city while the man that was chopping free govt food from 1999-2015 turned Otueke into an hamlet. Apart from his house by the river bank and his wife's hotel, that hamlet sucks. Don't go chasing waterfalls, stick to the rivers and the streams that you are used to.TLC group. Benin Kingdom nor be moi moi. 1 Like 2 Shares |
