I feel you were too fast to condemn him. Una never talk and you don already make conclusions. You're not the only person he helped and it appears you are the only person that suffered this stuff. It would have been wise to hear his response first before calling him out on NL.

I understand emotional reasons made you take the decision but this is just incase of next time.

I have sent him $600 estimated to 216 thousand naira, and his balance remaining 500thousand naira, the school name is America Jewish university, and I sent him my O'level certificate, date of birth my int'l passport, passport photography dat he requested, and I ask him how long will the legal approval take? he said he will informed me, dat it is not his first time of doing student for ppl, he said dat he is waiting for legal approval for d school. am confused, I have send him all I had for now. cos I dont have any money for other requirements, and I don't really know much about them. please I need a matured advice to handle dis problem urgently.

Something isn't really adding up.
From the look of things, he is milking you dry. How can this agents be this heartless. You can apply to schools yourself provided you have your transcripts and test scores handy.

He's milking you dry and sending you to a one-chance school. Sh*t happens!

Dust yourself, read the thread from page 1 till the end and start doing the needful.

Don't bother going back for your money. It will cause problems and waste your time. Forget it and move ahead.

hello guys..... I finished my high school in 2011 and got admitted to unilag that same year but I was advised to withdraw(which I did) due to my low cgpa in year 3 ...so I had to study hard after the withdrawal saga ,I enrolled in a professional course(software engineering) @ Niit Ikeja .to cut the long story short.....if the VO ask me what I have been doin since I left highschool , should I tell him/her the truth about the withdrawal saga?

please guys I need your thoughts on this.....May God bless us all

I still don't believe you were scammed. This is something you should have resolved with him privately. If he responds badly to you or if he refuses to respond to you after some days, that's when you can call him out on NL.

No one likes his name to be tarnished in public. If I were in his shoes, I'll feel angry too.

My advise is for you to delete all those messages and try to resolve things with him privately. I'm not supporting him but I won't call him a scammer until he's proven guilty.

It's practically impossible for somebody to offer unlimited 50% discount to anybody who is willing to write the exam without question being asked who is paying the other 50% and how.

Some Nigerians are heartless.

It's normal for him to be upset but not everyone will react the way he did. And even after getting a reply from Mr. Lincoff, he still came here to upload the mail and rant. I do online payments for people and I understand that some things are way beyond our control. But for someone to rush here to tarnish the name of another person even without discussing with the person, that's not cool.

His fellow benefactor has told him how she resolved a similar experience and he's still calling the person a scammer. Will a scammer reply him in the first place?

It shouldn't be my business, but I'm not always comfortable when I see people being blackmailed online.

Even BY Mafit and other educational consultancies that handle online payments experience problems of this nature. All that is needed for resolution is dialogue and not ranting.

Enough said.
