martAKINOLA:This kind advice dey somehow oooo why wud one tell d vo that they didn't take any form of test when they actually did? That's a sign of a desperate and lazy student i have seen transcripts here where ppl scored 72 in toefl n no gre yet they got the visa. Other factors comes into play. That you told the vo you wrote toefl as a standardize test shudnt serve as a yardstick 4 a denial..My own is that if the vo shud ask me "did you take any standardized test" i would just respond "yes toefl" chikina!! atleast i took a test I'm not a lazy student.lolzz |

Glocal1: hey, the best way to find out if they offer funding or not is to mail the coordinator of the program you are applying to and enquire from them. they are the one in best position to tell you the truth, you might not get answers here on nairaland. when i was applying to alcorn for mba, i couldn't see any funding information on their website and i had to inquire from the director of MBA and he made it clear that their is no G.A at the school of business,, i had to checkout another school. mail the coordinator of your program and ask questions. otherwise, you may be waiting in vain

THIS IS MY 2ND VISA TRANSCRIPT AND I WAS STILL DENIED AGAIN ,PLEASE HELP ME AND REVIEW IT AND PLEASE TELL ME THE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS AND RECTIFICATIONS I HAVE TO MAKE AS I WISH TO REAPPLY FOR THE FINAL TIME. HERE GOES MY TRANSCRIPT V.O: HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE SCHOOL? ME:I first heard it during an education U.S fair I attended here in Lagos sometime early last year and then after that I did an extensive research on the school and found out that their course curriculum is in in line with my career goals. V.O:HOW MANY SCHOOLS DID YOU APPLY TO? ME:TOLD HER 3 AND NAMED THEM. V.O:WHY DID YOU CHOOSE GANNON? ME:I chose Gannon because they offers the three most important courses that will aid me in my area of curriculum development and the courses are: i.Developing curriculum for emerging adolescent ii.Methods and materials used in teaching English as a second Language. iii.Research in Literature teaching and learning Furthermore,am also part of the research team of Dr Laura Ruthland who is currently carrying out a research in curriculum development in English Language and Literature teaching in Africa which will further enhance my growth in my career . ME: Pennsylvania is home to a good number of universities like Penn state, Drexel and Gannon so studying in this kind of environment will enable me mingle with great minds. V.O:WHAT WOULD THIS COURSE DO FOR YOU ON YOUR RETURN TO NIGERIA? With the advanced knowledge ,I will be able to carefully compare and contrast the difference b/w the course curriculum of that of Nigeria and U.S and try my possible best to bridge the margin b/w the two countries because the education system of the U.S is best compared to none in the world. It is also going to further hone my growth as a writer. V.O:WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE YOU GRADUATED? ME:I graduated in the year 2014 after which I went for my compulsory one youth service program which ended in 2015 after which I did a voluntary job with Hanovia before I now finally got a permanent job with Anambra State government on 18th April,2016. Timi1990:Just calm down, US is not Nigeria. Everything is wrong with Nigeria but we are fairly lucky cases of Incurable STIs are not rampant. Have you heard of herpes? More than 3million cases happen in the US per year and its not curable. Once you get it, its over. You should read more about it maybe that will guide you. Herpes could be oral or genital, oral could be contacted through just by kissing. Many beautiful ladies with kardashian body have this and its not written on the face. Herpes is not an STI people test just for, they only test for it if you show symtoms. I don't know how old you are but life is not all about sex, you won't die if you don't have sex for now or at least get a loyal girlfriend. Lets even forget STIs, you want child support to ruin you? These girls are desperate and you need to be careful. 19 Likes |

imperiouxx:This country is just crazy. Just to put this in perspective, a friend met a lady on one of those thier dating apps. Thank God she was honest, she said she has herpes and she contacted it from her ex the very first she had MouthAction. You never know what these beautiful people are carrying...You will now allow someone to come and pour stone inside the undone garri you are preparing...mba 9 Likes |
