Is that what the thread says and how does Ese issue his problem.

This is why you kids failed exams because you digressed bringing in irrelevant into what is relevant.

Pastor Fatoyinbo we have heard you but personally I'm not your follower because you are among the *homage payers* (who give what is for ceaser to ceaser it's a proverb for the wise) so sorry I'm not move by your testimony because it's not of God making.

Thanks and good luck.

You know what I'm saying Mr pastor.

Hush, he promised a robust reply... shouldn't we demand he fulfills his promise...

Does the bible not enjoin you to fulfil promises?

Firstly, i'm not a member of COZA, so whatever am saying is not in defence of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. I speak generally on the call of God.

Does God call people? Yes He does. Jesus called Peter, Paul and the other Apostles. We have chritianity in Nigeria and most parts of the world because those whom God called at that time responded to the call of God.

God is still calling people. And He is a faithful God. If He calls. He makes provision. The mindset that we were fed with that Pastors have to be poor is from the Devil. Why will God make His servants poor?

Please read the words of Jesus:
''Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life."
Mark:10:28-30

ok, before you misunderstand me...i'm not disputing the fact that God has called and still calls certain people to do His work, and only Him knows how they're selected.

and since we're Christians, we're supposed to be followers of Christ, right? in the past, Jesus Christ chose his disciples indiscriminately - and some were even unwilling to follow him initially. but save for judas (who had been condemned to betray him) they all walked the earth with him throughout his ministry and shared in his joys and sufferings. but never for once did Jesus make himself a rich man nor belittle his disciples as common sidekicks. in fact, he showed them the perfect model of leadership by washing their feet one after the other and drying them with a clean towel. subsequently, other apostles followed his humble direction throughout their ministries, like silas, peter, philemon, jude, john. these guys were never rich men! in fact, paul aka saul who used to be a well-respected persecutor of Christ's followers (he ordered the stoning of stephen) had to abandon his high position to serve God; he humbled himself and endured pains and torture till the end of his missionary journeys.

those are just examples...and i'm not saying God's servants should be poor and wretched.

but if you look at the crop of pastors we have today, especially in nigeria, you would be tempted to doubt God's existence because they're not doing His will and they're not following Jesus' footsteps. they advertise miracles and wonders (i'm yet to see one that will heal a confirmed mad man or cure an HIV patient) and barely preach salvation, drive exotic cars, move about with armed escorts, buy private jets and always emphasize on the need to pay tithes. they appear extremely rich and sophisticated but the average member of their congratulation is poor.

I'm glad you understood my point on the call, divine provision and the blessing of the called.

On your point about flamboyance and affluence, what we fail to understand is that its an individuals preference. In a family of 5 children, no matter how strict their parents are, all will not have the same level of modesty or character. Even identical twins don't have the same character traits.

So, also our men of God. All will not have same outlook. They are humans just like us though they are called of God. Dont expect someone who grew up a contemporary (ajebutter) young guy to become conservative (pako) because God called him. And dont think some conservative people dont have more money than those who flaunt. Its just individual personality.

Do I support excess? No. But then, you cant tell people how to spend their money as long as you dont have proof its ill gotten.

On the poor, its unfortunate but the reality of life is that you will always have the poor around. No government in he world has been able to eradicate poverty. There are many reasons why people are poor. The word poor is first a mindset. It is never supposed to be a permanent state all through an individuals life. So people cant always blame the church for those who remain perpetually poor.

There are people who were poor at a point, got committed to God and started serving in church and over time, things changed for good.

What does the pastor do apart from preaching to make a living Peter and his brother were fishermen, Paul joined aquilla and Priscilla in making tents instead of just chilling and expecting them to feed him.
Thats the question I want to ask.......what does he do apart from preaching?

MONEY is a SPIRIT and no humanbeing makes money without being SPIRITUALLY, EVIL OR GOOD,Knowingly or unknowingly and by self or by proxy and many human beings who acquire MONEY or wealth are Evil spiritually and pretend as if its Genuine because the source is hidden and not many people are able to peep through the hidden world but those who peeps after reading me also knows who is talking and that's why we told you who is ignorant that it is at night that we know who is who that is where the battles of life are fought, won or lost and I speak with heavenly authority and also authorize you to investigate what I speak but who can speak if GOD of justice has not spoken and who can battle with GOD of justice?Kingdom of Jesus Christ has comeback to revenge&judge humans and earlier you accept my truth&revelation the best for you to escape the judgement and be free. Where are the PROPHETS and pastors don't you have eyes anymore even as I say the Jesuschrist you claim to know his Kingdom and time and season has comeback and I authorize you to make this unbelievable truth and revelation your serious prayer and know if it's true or not at least you also read to test every spirit and now is the time to test the real spirit as I authorize and let's know who is fake or genuine? By the way, I'm still waiting for this man's robust reply to the allegations of adultery brought on by Ese Walters.

I advise you go and read about Pastor Biodun and his wife's family before talking thrash. Yes, he started the ministry poor but not from a poor home, i am a witness
