I am planning to get a bus for transportation
I recently saw a Toyota hiace 1999 model (right hand drive, Diesel engine, long chassis with three doors would have to spend 100k to have 4 doors) price is 1.4 million, conversion 150k, painting 50k, additional door fixing 100k, seat and windows 100k ( not sure of the price) total might be 1.9 million
Also saw a Toyota hiace 2005 model ( left hand drive, petrol engine 4 doors, long chassis with seat) 2.3 million

My challenge now is are older versions stronger than newer versions myth true?
But I am thinking the newer versions( 2005) has less usage than the 1999 model ( not sure of the history)
Thirdly Diesel engines has less patronage in Nigeria FOR Now, less technical knowledge in nigeria, fluctuating price of Diesel, second hand value of the vehicle

Just save yourself needless heartache and go for the 2005 Hiace. If the 1999 were so eternally reliable, Toyota wouldn't have bothered with the 2005.

Save yourself the stress of converting and all tgat. Go for the 2005 model. Next time post pictures even if it's internet sourced picture.
