Forget about this recruitment till next year. Most government parastatals are in December mode. They'll pick it up next year.

No sensible reason why they didn't complete this recruitment within the stipulated time. They were extremely careless with it and for a man previously with shell that conducts and concludes recruitment in less than 5 months he didn't try. He could have done way better than this. Now he'll probably bow to FCC and give them the slots they ask for.

You obviously do not understand how the civil service works. There is no recruitment that do not pass through the FCC, whether general recruitment or replacement recruitment.

They are that powerful and they are also the eye's of the president or presidency in terms of recruitment in Nigeria. But unfortunately, they aren't following the books in discharging their duties and that is why instead of them ensuring recruitments are completed at the stipulated time, they ended up making recruitment lingering even more than the stipulated time just so they can prove a point and get slots from head of MDAs.
Is good to know things before you condemned it.
In all of this I blame the management of NCDMB for the way they handled the recruitment and that's why we are still here waiting.

I just pray we aren't waiting in vain sha.

Working in a government institution has taught me that things changes by the day, a true update can change in a matter of seconds. The updates of the impending interview from some of our other nairalanders can't be deceit coming from multiple sources at the same time.
