These are photos of some pupils in Anambra state who were reportedly handed life goats for clinching the first position in their respective classes.

The names of their school weren’t revealed but online reports indicated that the goat-handing ceremony took place St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Egbeana Ezeawule in Nibo, Anambra State.

Two pupils from Anambra State have been named the highest scorers in the 2017 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity schools.

Emeka-Egbuna Chinecherem and Joyce Onubogu both scored 189 out of 200 obtainable marks in the examination conducted by the National Examination Council.

According to a statement signed by the Acting Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Husseini Adamu, the least score was 4 and was recorded by eight candidates.

Good enough, that's my ancestral home Nibo.
With the high scores these kids get in national exams and teaching them entrepreneurship at the this young age, why won't they be ahead of their peers from other regions.

Noo, the parents will teach those kids how to tend to those goats and in a few months or years, they'd have a large herd.
So nothing like ngwo ngwo on those goats for now. That's the Nibo and Anambra and Igbo way generally.
