Some group of youths in the south eastern part of the country have drummed support for the presidential ambition of former Nigeria's vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. The group, under the aegis of South Eastern Youth Movement for Atiku Abubakar, described the former vice president as a tested hand which distinguished him during his reign as vice president. Speaking in Awka after its inaugural meeting, the group's Coordinator, Maxwell Umeaba said the group had resolved to support the former Vice President to realise his presidential ambition with its stronghold in the five states of the South East. "We have resolved to come together to take our destiny into our hands. We have raised army of voters in all the states in the South East. "Atiku is a tested hand, whose works during his reign as vice president distinguished him. As a good business man who has overseen several successful businesses, Nigeria would be in safe hands if he is elected," he said. Describing Atiku's defection to PDP as a welcome development towards reshaping the country, Umeaba stressed that Nigerian youths believe in him and would strongly support him. He regretted that the present administration under the APC had relegated the youths and denied them of inclusiveness in governance. source: https://peaknaija.com Author Profile https://about.me/ohwako |

They hijacked GEJ and caused his downfall from power Atiku is yet to win the primary of the party and they are already creating unexpected,, unnecessary distraction and embarrassment for the man. All APC have to do is to spread ipob activities and other sentiments in the north for any candidate supported by the Igbos and it’s game over for such candidate 7 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria is a joke. Why Atiku? What about Donald Duke? Fayose? David mark? Pete obi? Biko If there's no other credible candidate other than Atiku, then the dullard from daura should remain in power. The devil we know is better than the angel we don't know. Period! 1 Like 1 Share |

ProWalker:Your sense is too small, you think PDP is looking for votes from the north, you people are mistaken the beautiful bride is south east and north central, PDP lost because the lost their natural areas of north central of kogi, plateau, nasarawa, Benue kwara, with taraba as PDP, the question you people in APC should ask yourselves is can APC win those areas again with 2.3m because people who opened their legs for rigging in the north in 2015 will not allow that this time around |

ProWalker:See a police officer working with one of the APC governors was fuming the other day on how APC planning to use police and other security agencies to rig 2019 election but they will be surprised, everybody knows that and their members are jittery and are very very aware that they have failed and can not win unless they rig |
