Art is about meaning. It should inspire, it should make you reflect and think. Contrast these artworks with the sculptures in Calabar and tell me which is more inspiring or reflective.

None of the ANSG sculptures at roundabouts was properly awarded. Was it openly announced to the art community and then the best submission selected? Or was it given to a friend of someone in government who then created this boring designs?

Nigeria has a history of great sculpture and art. Anambra is the birthplace of one of the greatest of them all - Ben Enwonwu. ANSG should do better. Engage the art community.
