uduokirika1: Thanks for your reply. I wish i can get a comprehensive information on the process. It's a pity they don't have a website or an active social media handle where one can get information. |

NonsoWow: You're still quoting yourself, Chino. Mind you, almost all my cousins that are traders support IPOB, while those in the corporate world tend to be in opposition. My mum's last-born junior brother who runs a truck transporting cargo is an IPOB supporter. Hell, within my own family, 2 sisters of mine in the UK make noise on Facebook all the time parroting IPOB talking points and were big fans of Nnamdi Kanu. In my house, it's only my brother and I and my mum who dislike the group. My mum used to support them sef, until I kept hammering their flaws into her head. To say Anambra indigenes "don't do IPOB" is nonsense. 2 Likes |

NonsoWow: Me sef don turn Wawa man? Is it you, abi Yeske, that is from Awka again? Shey you know Awka people are classified under the Wawa clan of Igbos. Anyways, continue deceiving yourself. Everything you dislike in Anambra is now Wawa and Abakaliki people. You need help. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Yyeske:whc is this stupidity goin on here. why do we Igbos like division? irrespective of Whr u come from, we are unique. I don't think where a person came from, should be your fuckn headache |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Obi1kenobi(m): 7:06pm On May 28, 2018 |
Yyeske: Yes: "The Waawa clan of Northern Igboland, also referred to as Ndi Waawa, Wawa People, are a unique sub-group of the Igbo people in Enugu State, Nigeria, consisting of several communities, who all speak a unique dialect of Igbo called Waawa. The most notable among these are the Agbaja and Ngwo which consist of peoples between the wooded lands of Awka (capital of Anambra State) to the rocky valleys of Enugu (capital of Enugu State). The Agbaja are made up of communities in present-day Ngwo clan, Udi, Ezeagu, Igbo-Etiti, Oji River, greater Awgu, and Enugu East Local Government Areas. Other notable parts of the Waawa clan include Nkanu, Nsukka, Abia (not be confused with people from Abia State), Nike, and other communities in Enugu State." Whether Awka people are Wawa or not, Awka people probably have more in common with people from Udi, Oji River etc than they have with someone from Onitsha or Idemili. Same way an Ihiala man has more in common ndi Orlu in Imo state than he has with Awka people. State boundaries are artificial creations that often reflect little about cultural affinity. That's why all these you and Chino's supremacist Anambra provocations of other Igbos make no sense. 2 Likes |

Ttipsy: He and Chino have made the Igbo state threads on Nairaland a nightmare for Igbo discourse. I've agreed with them in the past about their IPOB stance, cos I disliked the IPOB agitation, but they've turned it to a relentless assault on other Igbo groups. It's embarrassing for an outsider to witness. 1 Like |

joeisreal: The major problem with all these market developers is primitive design. They just calculate 2,000 shops X certain amount and build. No architectural input. For example, many of these markets should have leased warehouses for storage of goods. Many should have customer conveniences like toilets, food courts and banking halls. Many should have landscaping and tarred parking. Many Anambra Markets are screaming for relocation and redesign. They can be made a lot better. This is what wholesale markets look like in China where many of our traders frequent. 6 Likes 2 Shares

Abeg expose those monkeys for the world to see who they really are. Dingbats constituting nuisance on Igbo threads. I knew from the beginning that something was seriously wrong with those characters right from the beginning, even before they enter market with their madness. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Obi1kenobi:Liar, the Orumba people in Anambra of clearly defined Aro ancestry with Abia and parts of Imo largely speak a variant of Nkanu in Enugu state, do we now define them as a clan in Nkanu? Azia, Ihiala, Uli etc speak Orlu dialect so you want to tell us they are a clan under Orlu? Just because Awka wva wva meaning no no now means the Wawa people in Enugu and them are the same. Just tell the Enugu state government to give us our Ugwuoba you stole before talking trash. Ndi Anambra have a common destiny despite the fact that we are divided between separate hegemonies and kingdoms: Nri, Onicha, Aro, Igala etc Don't ever equate Ndi Awka with Wawa people, don't ever equate Ndi Orumba with Nkanu which is equally Wawa, don't ever equate Ihiala and the the rest to Orlu. Anambra is one and same. 1 Like 1 Share |

Yyeske: Weren't Ihiala and Orlu people the leaders of the movement to form Njaba state? Even they know they are kin. Anambra is "one and the same" as long as we're bounded within the same territory. That's how politics works. What does that have to do with my saying we are not all members of the same clan? The point in my post is not to sow division. That is what you and Chino do, not me. I'm pointing out that many of those you like to deride and ridicule as "ndi Wawa" are basically your cousins. The Wawa people you keep insulting are closer culturally to Awka indigenes than Awka people are to some other clans in Anambra. 2 Likes |
