Nnewi falls within the first class regions along side Onitsha, Awka and idemili north, planning rates from these areas a calculated as urban centres.

A five bedroom bungalow should go for about N200,000 or there about. it involves series of processes from different professional bodies involved in the approval process.

Note: prices might vary due to size of plot, other ancillary buildings, etc.

Thanks for your reply. I wish i can get a comprehensive information on the process.

It's a pity they don't have a website or an active social media handle where one can get information.

I have studied Ipod and most of them are jobless wawa, abakaliki and aba boys. Anambra indigenes don't do Ipod because our people are too busy with their businesses.

You're still quoting yourself, Chino. grin
Mind you, almost all my cousins that are traders support IPOB, while those in the corporate world tend to be in opposition. My mum's last-born junior brother who runs a truck transporting cargo is an IPOB supporter. Hell, within my own family, 2 sisters of mine in the UK make noise on Facebook all the time parroting IPOB talking points and were big fans of Nnamdi Kanu. In my house, it's only my brother and I and my mum who dislike the group. My mum used to support them sef, until I kept hammering their flaws into her head. grin To say Anambra indigenes "don't do IPOB" is nonsense.

Yes:

"The Waawa clan of Northern Igboland, also referred to as Ndi Waawa, Wawa People, are a unique sub-group of the Igbo people in Enugu State, Nigeria, consisting of several communities, who all speak a unique dialect of Igbo called Waawa. The most notable among these are the Agbaja and Ngwo which consist of peoples between the wooded lands of Awka (capital of Anambra State) to the rocky valleys of Enugu (capital of Enugu State). The Agbaja are made up of communities in present-day Ngwo clan, Udi, Ezeagu, Igbo-Etiti, Oji River, greater Awgu, and Enugu East Local Government Areas. Other notable parts of the Waawa clan include Nkanu, Nsukka, Abia (not be confused with people from Abia State), Nike, and other communities in Enugu State."

Whether Awka people are Wawa or not, Awka people probably have more in common with people from Udi, Oji River etc than they have with someone from Onitsha or Idemili. smiley Same way an Ihiala man has more in common ndi Orlu in Imo state than he has with Awka people. State boundaries are artificial creations that often reflect little about cultural affinity. That's why all these you and Chino's supremacist Anambra provocations of other Igbos make no sense.

He and Chino have made the Igbo state threads on Nairaland a nightmare for Igbo discourse. I've agreed with them in the past about their IPOB stance, cos I disliked the IPOB agitation, but they've turned it to a relentless assault on other Igbo groups. It's embarrassing for an outsider to witness.

Please whoever is investing his millions in those 2 x 2 shops in Umunze in this age should be made to stop. Government should wade in and stop him from defacing the area. It is an insult on the psyche of Anambra ppl in this time and age to trade in such atmosphere. Why do we live in apartments with conveniences attached to it unlike in the past where we have kitchens and toilets built separately from the main house? Juxtapose this with the shops where you spend 10hours of your time everyday chasing paper and you are taking us decades back to this hellhole kind of arrangement. In this regard they should visit Owerri and take a cue from Okorocha kind of malls that he is building to replace this disorder and inconvenient arrangement that we are used to. What ever item you chose to deal in, what can those tiny shops contain? The new international shoe market built this same archaic way in Ogbunike who is using it? The concrete eyesore at the foot of the Niger bridge by the right approaching from Asaba of what adequate use has it been put to? Please , Chino and all those who care and are equally concerned like I do who can easily reach out to the state government under the able leadership of Governor Willie Obiano should act urgently to stop the misguided investor(s).

The major problem with all these market developers is primitive design. They just calculate 2,000 shops X certain amount and build. No architectural input. For example, many of these markets should have leased warehouses for storage of goods. Many should have customer conveniences like toilets, food courts and banking halls. Many should have landscaping and tarred parking.

Many Anambra Markets are screaming for relocation and redesign. They can be made a lot better. This is what wholesale markets look like in China where many of our traders frequent.

Yyeske you dull o. Honestly by now you suppose don remember me. When i come nkpor next time, i go try track you. Michael church street used to be known as "old market road". It is a narrow street, the first by your left if going from Nkpor junction to that overhead bridge at Nkpor Market. Except if i didnt get the name of the saint properly, but you lived at IKB compound, downstairs, last shop that also serves as your accommodation.
LWKMD, so the guy lives in a make shift shop yet they keep forming paparazzi online!? SMH. I know the other psycho will be worse. Abeg expose those monkeys for the world to see who they really are. Dingbats constituting nuisance on Igbo threads. I knew from the beginning that something was seriously wrong with those characters right from the beginning, even before they enter market with their madness.

Liar, the Orumba people in Anambra of clearly defined Aro ancestry with Abia and parts of Imo largely speak a variant of Nkanu in Enugu state, do we now define them as a clan in Nkanu?
Azia, Ihiala, Uli etc speak Orlu dialect so you want to tell us they are a clan under Orlu?
Just because Awka wva wva meaning no no now means the Wawa people in Enugu and them are the same.
Just tell the Enugu state government to give us our Ugwuoba you stole before talking trash.
Ndi Anambra have a common destiny despite the fact that we are divided between separate hegemonies and kingdoms: Nri, Onicha, Aro, Igala etc
Don't ever equate Ndi Awka with Wawa people, don't ever equate Ndi Orumba with Nkanu which is equally Wawa, don't ever equate Ihiala and the the rest to Orlu.
Anambra is one and same.

Weren't Ihiala and Orlu people the leaders of the movement to form Njaba state? Even they know they are kin. Anambra is "one and the same" as long as we're bounded within the same territory. That's how politics works. What does that have to do with my saying we are not all members of the same clan? The point in my post is not to sow division. That is what you and Chino do, not me. I'm pointing out that many of those you like to deride and ridicule as "ndi Wawa" are basically your cousins. grin The Wawa people you keep insulting are closer culturally to Awka indigenes than Awka people are to some other clans in Anambra.
