Philipxxxx0: Don't be fooled by those people claiming to be Igbo. THEY ARE NOT! It is the same people that have been on the Igbo case since the 1960s. They are just playing on themselves claiming to be proud Imolite or Proud Enugulite. It is the same enemies of Ndigbo claiming these silly names to deceive naive folks into erroneously attacking themselves. It's the same strategy that they are using for IPOB now. They are ALWAYS helping IPOB to point out which Igbo politician or businessman is a "Sabo". So as to instigate Igbos against themselves while they are plotting how to destroy them. Meanwhile, they never mention the atrocities of Fulanis in the military or DSS, attorney general, their herdsmen, or their customs agents against Ndigbo. 9 Likes 1 Share |

The gridlock at State CID road from Amawbia roundabout to a section of Zik Avenue every morning is uncalled for. What’s the sense in reopening of that road?why block a lane completely and have cars, buses, trucks and trailers jam packed on the other lane? Why is most things in this part of the country always done differently? Pls the entire roads be opened and let’s car move freely. 1 Like |

BEFORE I USE ANAMBRA AIRPORT, OBIANO MUST DO THIS For those of us who are from Oba, Nnewi, Oraifite, Ozubulu, Okija, Ihiala, Uli, Obiano SHOULD ENSURE the Second Niger bridge Expressway CONTINUES from the Obosi Interchange through Obosi town to the Onitsha - Awka - Enugu Expressway. If this happens, then for patriotic sake we will turn right at the interchange to meet the Onitsha Awka expressway and then to the airport. If there is no clean, clear and safe way to the Anambra Airport at Umueri, then it will be ONE WAY to Asaba Airport from Obosi Interchange and Anambra Airport will suffer low patronage. Obiano can negotiate with Julius Berger to extend the road through Obosi to Onitsha Awka expressway if the federal government is not willing to. 1 Like |

Are there two Obiano in Anambra state? The one I know is leaving this year and the Niger bridge will be completed next year. He can only negotiate with the company, Ensure is a big word and he couldn't guarantee it if he tried. Take it up with Soludo. and as for your first paragraph, you're being unpatriotic and it's wrong but what do I know. If Asaba saves you time and money tho, there's nothing wrong Mathoj: 2 Likes |

Another alternative is to build a clover-leaf flyover at the junction of Airport Road at Enugu-Onitsha Expressway and extend a dual carriage Road southwards, perpendicular to Enugu-Onitsha expressway cutting Oyi, Idemmili, through Nnewi and will burst out on Onitsha-Owerri Road around Okija/Ozubulu with another clover-leaf flyover. 2 Likes |

We are happy that you used "I". Listen no one is begging you to use the airport, that's if you have entered aeroplane before. You are just an individual and you mean nothing to Anambra. Keep whatever you want to do in your mind, that's what people with means do. Poor people are known for making noise and feeling like a bird when he is just a butterfly. The owner of Air peace is from Mbosi in Ihiala, if he can use the airport, why then should we worry about a jobless miscreant like MATHOJ. Some bunch of hungry inconsequential jobless creature coming here to feel important, when in actual sense he is just a clownish nobody. Important air users from Anambra are just waiting for the commissioning of the Anambra international airport, not some cockroaches feeling funky. [s] Mathoj:[/s] 4 Likes 1 Share |

You actually believe the clown has been to airport before. No sane person from Anambra that's travelling to Anambra and have a flight going directly to Anambra that will not grab it with both hands. The clown you quoted is a nobody that shouldn't be taken seriously Furious1: 2 Likes |

Listen up, some people are inconsequential to certain things. Who is MATHOJ to say that so so and so must be done before he use the airport? Even the CEO of air peace from Ihiala hasn't made such silly comment, not to talk of one jobless hopeless vagabond that sleeps on nairaland. Assuming the clown called MATHOJ is an air traveller, does he charter planes? Is it not one seat he will pay for? Of what economic value is MATHOJ? Why would such a nuisance make such stupid statement when millions of high networth Anambrans are waiting for the commissioning of Anambra international airport. Chikeluba25: 3 Likes |

Very good suggestion. It will help drive traffic to the airport from that axis. Better still a light rail should be built connecting major cities in Anambra. Maybe for starters, from Awka to Onitsha cutting through the airport. Just like in the picture below. Just after their carpark is a rail station. Nnewi, Ekwulobia etc can be linked in phases. Lastly, this your statement that before you use the airport no follow, cos otu amaro na ofu onye abiaro afia. Mathoj: 2 Likes

Obdk: Clearly you failed reading comprehension in school. Not only can you not read statistics you fail to even follow news. What a dullard. Nigeria is ranked below Rwanda in terms of cargo. Hello? Kenya does double or triple the air cargo of Nigeria. Hello? Nigeria air cargo data in 2018 is data before enugu was shut for repairs. Hello? Anambra has entered one chance. Braggadacio is not market analytics. You dont bluff your way to success. You plan for it. It is step by step. Obiano failed at the basic level . The cities are rubbish. Rubbish transport. Rubbish roads. Non existent water supply. Garbage dumped on the side of the roads. Chaos everywhere. At least Enugu can pretend to be modern because its city feels like it. Awka does not. Onitsha certainly does not. Nnewi is a village. But we are building airport. An airport in a pigsty of a state. Well done una. |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MysteryShopper: 8:09pm On Jul 22, 2021 |
How does Anambra airport concern you? Why are you so worried about Anambra international airport if you do not have ulterior motive? Even before this airport was started by Obiano, you were already here fighting it as though you could stop it by being on nairaland. While you were here crying like a witch the project was ongoing on site. You thought your witchcraft could have stopped it, but you failed flat. Anambra generally is the most organised, developed state in igbo land with 3 viable major cities of Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi. Each of these cities have high networth individuals resident in it and equally has large economic activities. Anambra is not an ordinary state like your Enugu state. Anambra international airport has been built and it is the international gateway to the eastern Nigeria. Anambra cities of Onitsha and Awka are the fastest developing cities in Nigeria with excellent infrastructures. Anambra has the best road networks in igbo land. Obiano has done great things in Anambra and shall continue to be the face of new Anambra. There's organized transportation systems in Anambra more especially in Awka and Onitsha. Mktinsight you can keep crying but it cannot change anything because you have been defeated.. [s] mktinsight:[/s] 6 Likes |

mktinsight: Mktinsight insight. Like I said you are so dumb. The more u talk the clearer it is for even a blind to see.. Rwanda is a landlocked country that depend solely on air cargo for all import and export... Unlike Nigeria where the bulk of cargo is done by sea.. Have sense for once in ur life and shut up.. Hate Obiano and Anambra from now to eternity.. You see this airport it will be commissioned as at when due... You will only be able to take otapia pia to end it or transfer the pain to the ICC under construction.. Note. I dont like Obiano.. He did nothing for Nnewi people... 1 otu nkpuru sense inwero.... 3 Likes 1 Share

Obdk: I love that this airport makes them cry. The same types of people complain there is no development in their village but will poison anyone who does well in their profession to ensure the entire village remains poor. Imagine if these people are Igbo, we have all been crying to the FG for a befitting international airport in the SE. Now that one has been built truly by providence, they are angry because it's not in their state? What type of people are these? 7 Likes 1 Share
