These are all the embarrassments these guys keep causing us as igbos. One faction issuing out threats to ndi igbo on boycotting cow meat/anthem (foolishness and stupidity)...the other faction fighting amongst themselves because of money. Just look at!
Although I still blame MNK for the utter recklessness of visiting a highly corrupt African country like Kenya despite the obvious dangers, I concede the visit must have been important enough. I concur that we must continue with every Monday sit at home and boycott every election moving forward. I just don't like the idea of order and call-off. Let's be serious for once and pursue our freedom thing seriously.

It seems u don’t know the number of businesses the reckless order has further impoverished. The sit at home is useless, worsened our region’s problems, impoverished pple etc A region that strives more on trading and entrepreneurship has continued to be rendered impoverished because of the useless sit at homes.
There are better ways to pressure govt to release MNK and not by punishing ndi igbo to pepper Buhari.
The lanky man from Daura is unbothered about the sit at homes, cow boycott and what have you.
For a region which stands to lose a lot and also with less resources...violence and continuous punishment on ndi igbo isn’t the way forward.

All these reckless orders by these guys will further affect our pple. Those illiterates shouldn’t forget that our pple are widely settled in the north, west, south and so shouldn’t continue issuing orders that will affect them in those states.
I wish Ipob will channel this energy towards our southeast leaders especially those underperforming...honestly,it will do our region good.

My brother, you are absolutely right. The tempo of development at the airport has drastically slowed. The only noticeable improvement is that they appeared to have swept the internal road and car park. They also put up directional road signs and signs to remind folks to wear seat belts and labeled the power station building.

One hopes that sweeping the internal roads mean they will finally mark the roads properly. Not marking a road properly after construction is like not painting a house after plastering. Even if you live in such a house for 100 years, it will always appear somewhat uncompleted. That is why properly marking the approach main dual-carriageway all the way to the internal roads within the airport is very important. Especially as this is an international airport where we expect visitors to form their first impression of Nigeria. Also marking the main access roads could help attract the right types of individuals to invest in the appropriate buildings required along that dual-carriage way.

O'l boy, I love this picture!

Hopefully, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor will see it and do the needful. He appears to be the only Commissioner that is result-oriented and will go the extra mile to bullishly get things done. Hopefully, Soludo will retain that guy for a while.

I think a Governor's ultimate infrastructural achievement often depends on the character of who becomes their Commissioner of Works and Housing. If you have lazy people in this vital ministry, you will reap a mountain of excuses and achieve absolutely nothing for all the money spent.

Soludo should not repeat the mistake of Obi and Obiano of appointing friends and kinsmen to critical positions. Marcel Ifejiofor was a classic example of the follies of nepotism. The laziest commissioner of works whose road leading to his own ministry is riddled with potholes. The successes under Obiano were not due to ifejiofors management ability but delivered by project companies like Craneburg, ZCC and Monimichelle.

They should do a competitive exrcutive search for commissioner of works, transport, markets, health and education as is done by conglomerates like MTN, Nigeria Breweries. Have candidates provide plans as part of interviewing process.

Had such been done then the best would be hired on 4 year contracts and would deliver.

How many times have your state Delta joined the sit at home?

Why are you people from there so wicked? You want them to continue so that business will be moving over to your axis? One will think the advise is a genuine one.

Never you offer dangerous advise to what you don't observe or part of in any way..it is simply an act of wickedness.

Nonsense.

Nna, i am shocked and disappointed to say the least...is it not on this space we saw a screenshot of a Deltan Federal Worker cheering the sit at home in the East? Visit Delta and shout sit at home or ipob and see if dem no use bottle break person head.

ipob are a set of myopic bunch who can't even see through their nose...u stopped cows from d north but failed to encourage indigenous ranching in the east(careless decrees without serious thoughts).
It seems the present crop of buffoons who call themselves ipob leaders have been dreaming and waiting for a time like this to carry out their draconian leadership on ndi igbo. No wonder somebody insinuated these guys could even have a hand in the Kenya abduction of 2021.

One needs to ask himself why 98% of your comments and activity on nairaland is in Anambra thread.
Those activity has never been for the glory of Ndigbo or the state of Anambra but to share bile within Anambra or across the sister Igbo states.

You can fool some kids here but the older ones see through you. Both you and Juliusmalema.

If you want to fight IPOB, create threads like your senior colleague Udele do here and leave this thread alone.

You’d do well to leave IPOB alone! They rescinded their call for the boycott of the just concluded Anambra elections, which shows they’re not as autocratic and unlistening as some of you are trying to portray them!

This is a group that the despotic and murderous Buhari thugs kidnapped and illegally rendered from Kenya back to Nigeria....purportedly to ‘face justice’! We all are witnesses to how Buhari -that recently laughably claims to respect the rule of law- is flouting judges orders on respect for Mazi Kanus rights while in detention....as well as using delay tactics and outright illegality to delay commencement of the case proper! One would have thought they’re sure of their case against him and are eager to see him ‘convicted and sentenced’ for the trumped-up charges they have against him!

Knowing all this....and seeing the way the Buhari junta have marginalised, cheated, humiliated and murdered Igbos in cold-blood, one would have hoped that you, a Igbo man (as you claim), would understand Igbos position even if you don’t support their pronouncements! Even i didn’t support their initial call for the boycott of the Anambra elections, and i made my position clear at the time. But what you wouldn’t see me as a Igbo man do is try to mock or ridicule them on Nigerian social-media, knowing this dissension and division amongst us is exactly what Igbo-hating bigots are going for!

It is unfortunate that many people don't understand what freedom fighting is all about... The moment anyone make up his or her mind to become a freedom fighter such a person has offered himself as a sacrificial lamp!!!
Please I will encourage everyone to go through the history of those who had championed the freedom of their own people... In South Africa here... The great Mandela spent 21 years in prison... Now if his people had locked up their region.. Would they have survived it? The man of India was killed for this same cause.
This people are doing more harm than good to our people... Things are done with plan if you must achieve your purpose...
Now all ipob needs in this present time is political power not shouting no election and sit at home.... How will ipob achieve political power? Simple.... They should either enter into alliance with any of this political party or register their own without of course letting the cat out of the bag...
With that people who believe in the biafra vision will run on this party platform and ipob will throw their weight behind this party and will capture the five states and both the house of assembly.... By that we have control of the biafran land. Once this happened I will leave you to imagine what we stand to gain....

Please we need people who understands this
Our economy and lives can't be grounded because Nnamdi Kanu is in prison.... If they had killed him in Kenya nko? Now he has chance to answer his accusers... This struggle is not in a single man's shoulder....

Chukwu gozie gi!!!

The problem IPOB had and still has is recklessness! They used a very sacred issue as fighting for the freedom of our people and got massive support. Only to recklessly destroy everything through ill-thought-out strategies and disgusting use of gutter language and thuggery. i think the many years of military rule in Nigeria and the military mentality of the average Nigerian to abuse peoples rights made IPOB to see certain things as "Normal" which adversely portrayed their image globally.

You mentioned Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther and Gandhi. Do you think Ghandi did not know that the Queen of England supported the enslavement of Indians? Do you think MLK did not know that the White people running the Federal and state governments in the United States practiced racism? Do you think Mandela did not know that the Boers were supporters of the apartheid regime? But, they carefully did not want to go there. Since those people apply general punishment to all black people or all Indians, you will be making a mistake to respond in the same measure of labeling all their people. In that case, you have not demonstrated to have the higher moral courage to ask for equal rights and justice for all. That is the only way your argument will be superior to their own clannish argument for only their own people.

Again, these freedom fighters understood that the regimes they were fighting were more militarily powerful, had more resources, and had more tools of blackmail and ridicule them. Thus, they conducted themselves with the highest decorum, used civilized language, and above all used non-violent tools so as not to give the oppressor an excuse to introduce violence. If they had the same arms as their oppressor, they would opt for a war, not time-consuming freedom fighting! That is why people asked if MNK had an armory somewhere because you can only engage in that type of rhetoric if you are willing to confront their army of occupation militarily.

The current IPOB does not understand that there is a method to freedom fighting. They also don't understand that you CANNOT lose the support of the people that you are fighting for their freedom. Else you become a bandit and not a freedom fighter. Thus, if the people plead with you to do something, you will always try to listen to their wishes except when it's impossible. IPOB allowed the Nigerian security forces to infiltrate them and now use the same "IPOB Officials" to perpetrate many anti-people policies to make them lose support. The funny thing is that the Nigerian regime knows they cannot defeat the people but IPOB imagines it can. So sad!

I believe you know that you are not talking to an Igbo person. Both him and the other confirmed Bini dude are just impostors with the aim of Isolating Ndigbo in Anambra.
They have no single thing to benefit from doing so, just Igbo hate nothing more.

The one you quoted. Landmack it is has zero feelings for the blood of Ndigbo spilled in Enugu. That's how deep their hate for Ndigbo run.
