Are the 'so-called' windows xp sp2 upgrades really safe?  I wouldn't like to lose my HDD to 'upgrades'.  Please advise me. Nagode!  |

It is not only safe but highly recommended by Microsoft (See http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx) however as is always the case, you should ensure you have a full backup before upgrading. |
