If one were to look at it from a religious angle, the contest should be between Judaism and Islam. How it concerns you Nigerian Christians is what I find hard to understand.

Recognizing Jerusalem as jointly owned by Israel and Palestine is just for the sake of peace pending negotiations for a much better resolution. I don't see any wrong in what Buhari or the others that voted against Trump did. Trump cannot claim not to be aware of how claims to Jerusalem is contentious. It is not a contest that you can make go away by simply shifting capitals.
