Women are thus increasingly attuned to what they want and are asking for it, and that was apparent in many of this year’s collections.

From newcomers to industry veterans, the options and mood were varied and layered. Much of what there was to love was plentiful ways to customize – removable elements, layer-able pieces, and gowns easy to change with an adjustment of styling. We felt a spirit of individuality but not irreverence, a female strength but still a softness.
